Reflexology
Reflexology is a gentle, holistic therapy that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance and wellbeing.
Based on the principle that specific reflex points on the feet and hands correspond to different organs and systems within the body, reflexology uses gentle, targeted pressure to encourage relaxation, release tension and support overall health.
Many people choose reflexology as a way to slow down, reconnect with their body and enjoy a sense of calm in their busy lives.
Benefits of Reflexology
Regular reflexology treatments may help to support:
-
Deep relaxation and reduced stress
-
Improved sleep
-
Enhanced mood and emotional balance
-
A greater sense of wellbeing
-
Time and space to rest, reset and recharge
Each experience is individual, and many clients notice benefits continuing beyond the treatment itself.
What to Expect From Your Treatment
Your reflexology treatment begins with a relaxed, friendly conversation.
If you are new, this includes completing a short medical questionnaire; if you are a returning client, we’ll simply take a moment to catch up on how you’ve been feeling since your last visit.
You’ll then be invited to recline comfortably in a chair or on a massage couch, depending on your individual needs. Cushions are provided for support, and you’re welcome to enjoy a cosy blanket if you wish.
Soft, calming music plays as you settle in.
Your feet are gently cleansed before a nourishing balm is applied. Using gentle yet firm pressure, I work the reflex points on your feet in a way that is both deeply relaxing and supportive.
If you prefer not to have your feet worked on, hand reflexology is also available.
Each treatment is tailored to you and your needs on the day, creating a calm, supportive space where you can fully relax and unwind.
If you’d like to experience reflexology for yourself or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
